Ethos 17mm Ultra Wide Angle Eyepiece (2")

It's been quite a challenge to develop new Ethos eyepieces to the same performance standards achieved by the 13mm and 8mm models, perhaps the most honored in history.

It has now been 20 years since Tele Vue designed the original 13mm Nagler eyepiece.

When Tele Vue designed the Radian series of eyepieces, Tele Vue used the Nagler concept as the basis.

At NEAF 2008 Tele Vue demonstrated a new 100 AFOV Ethos eyepiece in an 8mm focal length.

This 24mm Panoptic, designed to produce the largest true field possible in a 1-1/4" eyepiece.

The 10mm Ethos delivers: 100 apparent field (50% larger in area than 82 Naglers), comfortable eye-relief, (accepts DIOPTRX eyesight astigmatism correctors), distortion ...

The 41mm Panoptic eyepiece is a big brother to the 24mm Panoptic (largest 1.25" field). With its 46mm field stop, the 41mm Panoptic delivers the largest 2" field possible.

The 25mm, 20mm, 15mm, 11mm and 8mm Pl? ssls round out the focal lengths for various observing from deep sky to planetary.
