The projector's Advanced Iris technology also helps to improve images by monitoring algorithms and adjusting the iris diameter so images in bright scenes are crisp and clear while black levels in dark scenes are deep and detailed. I have never seen anything like it. The color, sharpness, textures and depth of the picture is beyond belief. I cannot imagine the picture getting any better and yet it will when the next generation HD-DVDs come to market that will output 1080p. All of the reviews I have read on the internet and in all the magazines do not do this projector justice, you have to see it for yourself. Do NOT and I mean DO NOT pass this projector up. This projector is outstanding. Value, quality, ease of use, and price, it can't be beat. It's so quiet, if you weren't looking at the beautiful image, you'd not even know it was on.
