A tipped pitcher vessel rests at the top of this fountain, spilling water into a bowl below it. This bowl spills into a lower bowl, which spills into another. The third reservoir empties into a large bottom container, which cleverly houses the solar pump. The pump then moves the water up a discrete tube and back to the pitcher, for a continual water feature. The ceramic bowls have a terracotta colored finish, with a band of white with maroon and green accents near the top for added interest. The ceramic construction will withstand rain and sunshine, but must be placed in a frost free environment during the colder months as water in the reservoir may freeze and crack it. Place this fountain anywhere in the sun, as it is powered by a large solar panel instead of electricity. This panel converts sunlight to electricity and uses it to run the pump. For maximum effectiveness, be sure to place the panel in full sunlight, avoiding any shade. The solar panel may also be angled each season to absorb the most sunlight. For a variety of placement options, the panel may be wall mounted, stand mounted, or stand on its own with the included hardware. The pump can also use the included AC adapter for power for up to 4 hours at a time.
