I have always had bad cable reception
in my house. I guess the signal
coming in was weak in both places I
lived. I added this booster to a 4
way split and it provided excellent
results. One main thing I would like
to mention if you are looking for a
fix to your reception issues...use
good cable and connectors. I bought
the premade wires and that fixed a lot
of issues. Stay away from the twist
on connectors. They kill your
signal. I am not a pro by any means,
but I know this is a fact. Buying
this on the internet is the way to
go. I save about 50% off the circuit
city price. I used Compuplus. Some
reviews were bad, but I took a shot.
It was an all-around great
transaction. $9 for shipping and it
got there within a week. I definitely
recommend this product. It's great
for the pros and non-pros for
addressing reception issues. I can't
comment on cable modem performance. I
put the booster after my cable modem
split. I hope this helps someone out
there.

I installed HDTV and had problems with a low cable throughput. This product solved the issue very very well. The only unexpected issue is that the booster has to be plugged in to a standard wall plug which I hadn't expected. I recommend.

I installed this unit onto my cable TV just before a four way splitter. It provides a great, sharp picture on all four sets for two weeks. After two weeks the unit failed.

I had continual problems getting my Comcast digital cable and HS Internet working properly. Either I would randomly lose high channels or my internet would die. I tried a couple of different signal amplifiers with no success until I purchased this unit. Installation took 2 minutes and I had immediate results. All of my cable channels are crisper than ever before and my internet is working flawlessly. If you have these types of problems, this is the unit for you.

Worked great for exactly two years but then died. I don't know if lightning struck the TV antenna or what. I only know that I have to buy another one.

Worked exactly as advertised. My cable
modem signal went from -3dBmV to
11dBmV. Cable channels that were
unwatchable now look great. I highly
recommend this if you're suffering
from a weak cable signal.

this amp does not produce noise as the
rca or radio shack amplifiers, it is
perfect for signal amplification or as
a distribution signal
