Featuring dedicated security specific processing hardware, it employs a comprehensive set of Unified Threat Management (UTM) security features to protect against network and application level attacks while simultaneously stopping content-based attacks. A stateful inspection firewall performs access control and prevents network level attacks while deep inspection firewall stops application level attacks. Web filtering using SurfControl feature blocks access to known malicious download sites or other inappropriate web content. Additionally, the application level gateways for H.323 / SIP / SCCP and MGCP inspect and protect VoIP traffic. Delivering about 1 Gbps of firewall traffic and up to 500 Mbps of IPSec VPN traffic, this appliance can be easily managed through graphical Web UI, CLI, or NetScreen-Security Manager central management system. Offering customizable security zones to enhance interface density, this appliance provides interface and routing flexibility for varying network connectivity requirements.
