This DVD player shines when it comes to sound quality and video performance. I have it hooked up to a Sanyo VPL-Z5 projector and the colors and sharpness of the picture are amazing. I was unsure if I wanted to purchase the Denon or plung into the Blu-ray/ HD-DVD market. With my extensive collection of regular DVD's, I decided to stay with the 3930ci and my regular DVD's almost look as they are in hi-def. Very satisfied.
