Very pleased with this machine. Bought it just for basic embroidery as I have several other high end machines too. But discovered this one has some things my pricey Swiss and Swedish machines lack - optional auto thread trimming and auto backstitch, auto 1/4" stitch without changing feet, handmade-look" machine quilting stitch, and GREAT auto threading. Easy to use, good instruction manual, all the basic feet included, and the embroidery is just fine too (MAX is 4x4). Not much into Disney designs but many program cards are available and it will also use Ultimate Box etc. Only one small complaint - the presser foot doesn't raise high enough to allow you to remove the hoop/finished work from the machine without first removing the embroidery foot - bit of a chore. And with the emb. unit on the machine the working space for your hands (to remove foot, rehoop, or cut threads) is very limited. Still, I'd buy it again and can easily recommend it as a great value for the price.

I purchased this machine on 6/26/07. I have had nothing but problems with it. It is more trouble than it is worth to use the bobbin winder. Now I am having problems with the needle hitting the bobbin shuttle. The service center seems to think it's my fault but I am not a novice and I think it is a mechanical problem. I like all the features it offers but if you can't use them there really is not a point in owning the machine.

I love this Machine ...EZ to use ....I had another machine, it was a nightmare ...I am just a beginner at sewing on this kind of machine ... but can tell what difference a machine makes. I would recommend it to anyone that's just starting out as a good starter Machine ...LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I have this machine and love it. This is my first computerized machine and I can't say enough about how easy it is to use. The embroidery area is a little small but it's worth learning on a machine like this one. I have recommended this machine lots of times and if you watch for sales its a great value.
