The 16-Port KL1116M 17-inch LCD Dual Rail Console KVM Switch with Standard Rack Mounting Kit from Aten Technology is a control unit that allows access to multiple computers from a single KVM console. Control up to 16 computers and as many as 31 additional units that can be daisy chained to each other, so that up to 512 computers can all be controlled from a single KVM console. It offers a space-saving, streamlined approach by integrating a keyboard, LCD monitor, and touchpad in a 1U Hideaway housing. The LCD module and keyboard module slide separately allowing you to see the video display with the keyboard and touchpad conveniently out of the way. The 17-inch RGB analog LCD display supports high XGA resolutions of up to 1280x1024 pixels with 250 cd/m 2 brightness. It offers access to the computer connected to the installation is easily accomplished either by means of a powerful, mouse driven, OSD (On Screen Display) menu system, or by entering Hotkey combinations from the keyboard. Hot plugability allows addition or removal of computers without having to power down the switch.
